Make no mistake, I am prone to exaggeration. But after being gifted a gorgeous spring day off from work, I decided to try another whale watch cruise - yes, a whale watch cruise like the one I almost died on a few weeks ago 😂😂😂 (that exaggeration thing?...not exaggerating about the exaggerating). But I didn't go in blind and had a friend's partner peruse the marine conditions and give me the thumbs up. Not gonna lie, I did have several 'what the hell am I doing?' moments as we pulled out from the dock but every single stress was put to the side once we got out onto the water. We were surrounded by whales (not an exaggeration). 2 mums and their 2 bubbas stayed with us the entire time we were in open seas. It was absolutely breath taking - I could hear the blow, and see the barncles on them. And then a pod of dolphins joined them along with countless sea birds and there was free fairy floss (no, there wasn't that, but how good would that have been???). Seriously, a day I will never forget with bonus no voms!!!
