So the jumping spiders are back out and about in pretty decent numbers now the weather has warmed up (queue me falling to pieces and melting into a big heap of love for the little guys). Heard an ominous buzzing sound not far from a larger looking jumper I had been watching and sure enough I'd just missed watching it catch itself some foodage.
Still, super interesting to watch the spider carrying prey at least twice its size - spoiler alert - it was quite gruesome, the fly didn't stop buzzing or wriggling for quite some time even when it was being snacked on!
Looking forward to many mornings trying to get a decent photo and hopefully, one day, finally finding a peacock spider!
