Day 247 and still no whales...

I've been standing staring out at the ocean since just before the northern migration started in early May and still nothing. zip. nada. Those whales sure are being elusive (for me) so far this season. 

Still, very happy to have the BSKites to keep me company and was super excited to see the juvenile had finally decided to leave the very top of the norfolk pine and come down to a much more respectable height perching on the power lines. I of course, ran around like an idiot for 50 minutes taking multiple pics of it sitting in the exact same position looking in the exact same direction and also spent an inordinate amount of time in the middle of the road - this time not in my pyjamas so we can all be thankful for small mercies.
