Yesterday while driving to the Royal National Park, I listed off all the things I wanted to see. It's been a while and so the list was ah, shall we say, ambitious. But hey, when you're busy manifesting all the good things, go big or go home, right?
Echidna, Yellow-Tailed Black Cockatoo, Whales, Peacock Spider and Lace Monitor. I didn't, not once, mention wanting to see a seal. Now I love seals so I'm not sure why I didn't chuck the ol' Fur Seal on the list but I didn't and yet here we are, with video of a very lovely seal, rolling around in the waves, grooming itself and just having a fabulous time.
Turns out sometimes you don't actually know what you need!
