Seriously could bats be anymore gorgeous?!
Back when the sun was still in the sky (we're having a run of horrendous weather here) we went and visited our local bat colony and I'm super happy to announce that not only are they doing well, those guys are absolutely flourishing! The colony numbers have increased and all individuals look really healthy. And after an absolutely horrific season due to the heat and lack of food that saw the death of thousands of bats along the east coast, it's especially brilliant to see.
How could you not love these cape wearing teddy bears?!
