All the nopes. Nothing. Nada. Sulking and throwing around the occasional: "I guess I'll just get in my car and go and buy bread and milk then since there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of any interest to see here" in an attempt to emotionally blackmail any nearby animals into appearing. And then I spot a hovering Black Shouldered Kite AND a Great Comorant and it's on like donkey kong and I'm running into traffic and doing ninja rolls and high fiving and giving thumbs up to any random passerby (ok to my husband). I was seriously shaking when I got into the car - full of adrenaline - two new captures for me! (The Kite was especially exciting to me because I am totally lame). And then I got home and looked at my pictures and all my raptor pics are bllluuuuurrrryyyyyyy and I'm so sad it's like I'm reliving Molly's death on A Country Practice all over again. At least I, unlike Molly, can try again tomorrow...
