There are SO many babies around at the moment my ovaries have been having conniptions for days 🙈 Of course I mean babies of the non human variety, which are the best kind if you ask me. Tumbling ducklings and squawking currawongs and oh be still my beating heart, KOOKABUBBAS!!! But today was all about the Magpie bubbas (well, it was also about the ducklings) but I know there are loads of you who absolutely love maggies so I had to share these two terrors. It was funny watching them go about their day, with their two very distinct personalities. One stood by itself, clearly confident and happy to do its own thang, pecking at the grass and digging up a worm or two. The second young one though, it was all about following the parent. Actually let's be honest, racing after the parent, head down and jutted forward, screeching 'feed me' while doing absolutely nothing to try and deal with its hunger itself. Both were bloody adorable though, with their still fluffy feathers lifted by the occasional breeze. And as I yell out to Matt to please make me a cup of tea, pronto, I think there might be a little bit of both of those young Magpies inside of me. Happy Monday!
