Firstly, a spider update! I found another specimen of my spider. This time IN MY HOUSE 🤣 It really just seems like sheer dumb luck that it hadn't been 'discovered' previously. I took a selfie but let's just say posting a photo of me flushed face (with excitement and no pun intended) in front of the toilet pointing at an inconspicuous spot on the wall isn't on my list of 'must do' items 🤷♀️
Gosh I really haven't been posting much recently. It's been raining a lot and I think between that and trying to dry loads and loads of washing has sucked my mojo away. I did get woken up by a Superb Lyrebird going absolutely mental cycling through the strangest sounds this morning. And by woken up, I really mean literally woken up as it was LOUD and very close by. My neighbour later spotted it in her tree!!! So fingers crossed he'll come and visit and I'll be able to capture the moment for you guys.
But it's Wednesday and I don't, unfortunately, have any WTFs for you so let's go with Wrensday instead! Found this little guy while I was out hunting for whales between rain squalls a couple of days ago. Have had a couple of lovely little Humpback encounters too which I'll share at, um, some point soon. Hang in there with me, mojo should be incoming by say Friday.
Speaking of, I'm FINALLY going to be seeing my son after months and months of lockdown. I'm so damn excited and if that doesn't put a spring in my step again nothing will!
Really hoping that you guys are staying safe and enjoying this stupidly weird Spring!
