Okay, details:
Firstly, this is not just for kids but for the big kids too. I'm 47 and if I can do it, so can you!
Each Sunday night, starting tonight, I'll announce the week's theme. You can interpret it however you damn well please! Basically we are looking for things while we're in our yards, or out in the wild, feathers, shells, rocks, grasses, flowers, petals, leaves, ANYTHING from nature at all to represent the theme - you could definitely get all arty and use items to create a picture of collage even. This is a free range free for all 🙌
I'll pin the post each Sunday night and throughout the week, add in your photos below the post, as many as you want, or by tagging #backyardzoologyscavengerhunt or #bzscavengerhunt and i'll be sharing my favourties on here and on my website during the week.
Rules? No rules, just be aware different states and countries have different rules re collection so if in doubt, take photos in situ and leave the items behind. As pretty as it is, no rock stacking please because that is really disruptive for any critters who live under and around them.
