I had planned this post for WTF Wednesday and now it's Friday, WTF indeed.
One of our spinies shed her skin on Monday (Fleur, for those of you playing at home) and while we knew it was coming it was damn stressful!
As many of you know, I've spent heaps of nights sitting out in the warm summer air, crickets clicking away in the background, critters of one description or another rustling through the leaves, watching Cicadas shed their old skin. It is awe inspiring and beautiful and breathtaking and strangely calming but this was on a whole other level. Absolutely amazing!
So as to not stress Fleur out, I just used my iphone in our dark loungeroom so it is what it is, not the greatest quality but fascinating all the same.
