Drum roll please...
A massive thank you to Jennifer, Lorelle and Sarah who saved my two spinys from the names I was about to inflict upon them by instead suggesting Petal and Fleur!!!
I loved Petal from the second I heard it and Fleur suits the theme and the insect perfectly! There were lots of great names, Bacon might have been pushing it a bit 😉 and I have tucked away a few for when the girls start laying eggs.
I've spent the last couple of days trying on different names for size and while I'm super happy the spinys could not seem to care less if they tried. Unless, swaying gently like a dead leaf or hanging upside is a sign of approval and if so, they're 110% for their new monnikers! 😉
Thanks again for playing along lovely humans and for all of the birthday wishes!!! There's cake from the incredible Celebrate Now and not gonna lie, possibly pizza and what's a lockdown birthday without wine?
So here's to another year of me getting older and fatter and greyer. As long as you all stick around for the ride, I'll be one happy gal!
(I swear these are two different insects 🤣)
