I thought I'd beat the Christmas crowds by doing a quick Kmart run this morning, you know, considering it's only part way through October. Spoiler alert: I did not beat the Christmas crowds!!! 😳 I really haven't been going out into the world much at all. Nature doesn't count. That's the world, world. I mean, into society and let me tell you it was a shock to the system! I'll be staying at home and shopping online again from now on I think!!!
I did catch this little Superb Fairy-Wren out in the world, world late the other afternoon and funnily enough he is sitting on a barbed wire fence, a little bit of the man-made world running through his. And while I try to get photos of animals doing their thing in their natural environments, for some animals like these wrens, their world is our world and vice versa.
And for some reason I think it's a little bit lovely, his stunning blue contrasting with the rusty wire and the bright hues of the lantana, quietly taking over everything in the background. Life finds a way.
