By saying 'moved in' it implies that the spider made the decision to choose our house, gather all of its things together and actually move in. I'm implying that because that's exactly what happened. I like spiders. All of them except for Huntsman, which after having one drop on my head in the shower many moons ago, is completely understandable I think. Anyway, after the spider lady appeared in our laundry first and then moved into the hallway adjoining our bedroom we decided it was time to show her the door, literally, on the end of a soft-bristled brush. And so we put her outside which she took one look at, decided it was not the life for her and started hightailing it back up the stairs. At this point I made a sound that kind of sounded like 'roar' but backwards and from a place deeper inside my body. I quickly shut the door and thought that was that. Spider: 0, Me: all the points. But she showed up again, this time in our kitchen about 4 days ago. So she lives here now. Behind a huge print we have in the kitchen which is fine by me, stay there until lights out and then by all means, the house (bar our bedrooms) is yours! I went to bed the other night and she was near the kitchen window. I was woken nice and early the next day by the sound of a measuring cup I had left out being knocked onto the kitchen floor and the Huntsman was now on the other side of the room, back near her painting/house. Personally I think she knocked it off running across the bench. Matt thinks she's like a cat, sitting there, pushing things off to amuse herself. Yay us I guess ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ Anyway here are some Silvereye birds that will most definitely not land on your head in the shower, gripping onto you like a big, wet, hairy, eight-legged puppy. Nor will they hang around in your kitchen, plotting to drop into your mouth whilst you are sleeping Nightmare on Elm Street style. Lucky, because these guys fly in flocks! Silvereye Woonona
