  "text": "I swear it's impossible, absolutely totally and utterly impossible for me to eat anymore sugar. I don't know what that's all about but what I can say, is that I make a mean chocolate caramel slice. And honey biscuits. Oh and apple crumble. I should point out that me saying that I can't eat anymore sugar doesn't mean that I can't actually put it in my mouth, nor does it mean that I won't, it just means that I have broken records that should never have been broken over these last few months. It's the ISO way, right?\n\nIt's really cold and windy and overcast here (that doesn't help the eating thing, that's for sure) but we made time to head out and stand on a headland and look out at a very angry ocean for whales again today. I've started to try and get my eyes on the water daily now that the northern migration has started but am still without luck. So if you're into superstitions, cross those fingers and rub those Buddha bellies, please and thank you. Seriously, the first whale of the season is always super exciting and oh lord, how I need some excitement!\n\nWe actually had the best encounter literally just across the road BEFORE we headed out today, which is pretty much always the way! This Laughing Kookaburra flew into one of the trees and fluffed itself up to ward off the cold. I mean, just look at that face!!! It was really close but didn't give too hoots about us noisily stomping through the leaves as it was absolutely focused on looking for something delicious to eat. Looks like the good ol' kooka might just be my spirit animal after all!\n\n***Also, can I just say, a big, fat thank you to those of you who have bought yourself a little something, or something lovely for someone else from my Redbubble store 🙏. It is so bloody brilliant to see photos of cushions and acrylic blocks and bags in your homes. Thank you, especially right now.
