I have the best neighbour - aside from the ridiculously loud parties, revving her motorbike at 5am, the fireworks every Friday night (she does none of these things but I’m just checking if she’s reading along 🤣🤣🤣).

I got a text yesterday saying the Diamond Python who made an appearance a week or so ago was back and would I like to come see- would I ever!!!

And so we stood whispering watching as this gorgeous snake silently curled and coiled up over the warm rocks, tasting the air. How lucky are we to live on such a gorgeous spot. Even better, it looks like she’s nesting in my neighbours yard! We do live across from the bush but this garden is perfectly designed for wildlife and look, build it and they will come!

These snakes are incredible pest removers, so hold onto your hats bush rats!
