You guys loved the snakes. I mean, LOVED the snakes and there's a bucket load of new followers on here (oh, hey, I'm Amanda ๐Ÿ™‚) and I fear that those new people may be expecting snake quality posts all the time. You lot who've been here for ages know this page is more about me talking about my washing and bringing such amazing content as: here, I found a birb ๐Ÿ˜‚ So I have kind of been of watching notifications and pretending that I didn't need to post anything else, for say, a year or two. But the show must go on and it is Spring and there are nests and nest makers and baby making everywhere. We won't talk about the trip to Camden to see the Rainbow Bee-Eaters yesterday that resulted in a big fat dip. Also known as a doughnut day (because there were 0 Bee-Eaters sighted), which ended up being a literal doughnut day after picking up some Krispy Kremes for the kid. And we won't mention today where I took the 17 year old to look for whales and upon seeing nothing lied straight to his face telling him it's not normally like this ๐Ÿ˜‚ Anyone who has ever watched a whale will know that's there a LOT of down time. But we ended up with burgers and beat the rain, kind of. So once home I procrastinated some more and baked honey biscuits and looked through some photos, and swept the floor and look, let's just do this. They may not be fighting snakes, but there's something totally lovely about these Superb Fairy-Wrens gathering nesting material and getting into their breeding outfits. Superb Fairy-Wrens Bass Point
