Sometimes I have the best damn luck as far as timing goes. Walked back up the stairs after a visit to the old yellow top recycling bin - another prime wildlife spot for me, believe it or not - to spot these two male jumping spiders facing off.
They briefly circled one another before getting into it, legs and fangs extended. They had a bit of a wrangle, legs hitting legs, it was all very top dog until the would be victor used its jaws to pick up the other and quickly dispatched him off the side of the leaf. Love will make you act crazy, it seems.
Speaking of acting crazy, I’ve been signed out of my personal Facebook account for a couple of weeks now. I’ve dropped in once or twice to see if I’ve been tagged in anything important and then dipped back out again and it’s been AMAZING! I hear sirens and don’t know why, helicopters fly overhead and I have to guess to their purpose, if I hear a bang I have to assume I’m the only one who’s heard it as I no longer see anyone’s posts.
I’ll need to re-engage at some point especially as a writer I need to know what’s going on in the community, but for right now? Right now I’m in my bubble and I BLOODY LOVE IT!
