Sea Star Sunday - look, it mightn't be a thing but it should totally be a thing! I reckon it's a bloody lovely way to head into Monday.
Husband has been a tad under the weather this weekend so it's been another quiet one but the sun was shining and the wind was really light and the tide was low - perfect sea star photography conditions!
I set up a little time-lapse thing to get some more battling Carpet Sea Stars (also known as Eight-Armed Sea Stars) and totally nailed it. Well. I got four sea stars all battling away which was totally amazing but the focus was rubbish so I guess I can't tick that off of my to do list just yet 🙄 Still, when these critters are sitting near the surface, hunched over feeding or slowly, VERY slowly feeling their way about, they are just absolutely beautiful. A galaxy of sea stars, doing their thing, me meandering along the rock shelf doing mine. A perfect Sunday morning. Hope you all have a lovely week.
